2020 Conference

Following the success of previous biennial conferences, Catholic Social Services Victoria and Catholic Social Services Australia again partnered to present Serving Our Communities with Courage and Compassion. The conference was held at the Catholic Leadership Centre, Victoria Parade, East Melbourne on 26-28 February 2020.

The conference provided participants with the opportunity to:

  • get up to date with the latest issues affecting our sector nationally
  • strengthen relationships and working partnerships
  • are inspired and challenged by leaders in the sector.

The program included:

Francis Sullivan delivering the opening keynote, Margin Call – The Risk of Integrity;

Debra Zanella delivering the closing keynote, Mission on the Margins: The Call to Uncommon Courage;

Dr Ursula Stephens presenting the Mary MacKillop Oration at the conference dinner;

A panel with young Catholic professionals sharing their perspectives of working in the sector;

A special forum focussing on how to Mobilise Media to advance Mission and Advocacy; and much more!
