Catholic Social Services Australia (CSSA) is a values-driven organisation, guided by the principles of Catholic Social Teaching. These principles shape not only what we do, but how we do it — informing our leadership, decision-making, and organisational culture.

We work alongside like-minded organisations to advocate for ethical, sustainable solutions that uphold human dignity and improve the lives of people experiencing vulnerability across Australia. Our vision is to help shape a fairer, more inclusive society where every person is valued, supported, and able to participate fully in community life.

CSSA is a registered charity and operates in accordance with the standards set by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). Strong, transparent governance underpins our work and ensures accountability to our members, partners, and the communities we serve.

Our governance framework is set out in CSSA’s Constitution, which guides our operations, responsibilities, and organisational integrity.
