Across Australia, Catholic Social Service providers play a critical role in supporting individuals and families facing complex and evolving challenges. This work contributes significantly to community wellbeing, yet the significance of our scope and impact are not always reflected in policy development and sector-wide systems and services planning.
To address this, CSSA has launched a national State of the Sector Survey 2026 to gather comprehensive insights into the realities, challenges, and contributions of Catholic social services.
This survey will provide critical insights to:
- Strengthen evidence-based advocacy
- Inform funding and policy development
- Improve national recognition of the sector
Importantly, the survey will also ensure that the voice and impact of Catholic social services are clearly represented at a national level and that our commitment to the Common Good is exemplified through our people and organisations.
Participation from Catholic Social Services Australia member organisations and the broader Catholic network is kindly requested to ensure the survey results are as accurate and impactful as possible.
Survey Details:
- Approximate completion time: 60 minutes
- Survey closing date: 25 July 2026
